Ridiculously Easy Winged Eyeliner

I have always been a huge fan of the traditional winged liner look. It is so pretty and elegant, and really finishes off a makeup look. The only problem is, I can never manage to get the wings to be anywhere near similar, so I kinda gave up on the whole thing. Until now.

I was browsing through Lisa Eldridge's YouTube channel when I came across the above video.  Instead of using either liquid or gel eyeliner, she uses eye shadow to line the eye. She just made the whole look seem so easy and simple, I had to have a go. And guess what? It actually came out fairly well! One of the things she says in the video really struck me - "Instead of trying for perfection, aim for the look". As previously mentioned, I've always struggled with winged eyeliner, but this seemed to quell my inner perfectionist enough for me to just let go and do it, with pleasing results.
