Vivid Pop Stick

So I popped into Etude the other day (oops) and was just browsing when I found this lovely little product. I have absolutely been loving crayon products recently (so easy to apply and great for throwing in your bag)

so I had to have a quick play. Of course, it was love at first swatch.

There were around 8 colours in total, but this bright, pillar-box red named Just Dance was definitely the cream of the crop (however saying that there was a pretty fuchsia that might somehow make its way into my makeup bag before I leave Korea...). The finish is quite a matte velvet, and is just what it says on the tin - vivid, though you could just dot a little on the center of your lips and blend it out with your finger to tone down the colour if you like. What I think its really great for are those "yep, I've just rolled out of bed and thrown this on" days, when you have minimal makeup and let your lips do the talking.

I have to say, it isn't the most moisturising product out there, but its nothing a little lip balm won't cure. As for the longevity, I would say it is pretty much average. I wore it out on a night out recently and it lasted a good four hours before it needed a touch up. However, because it is so easy to apply I don't mind! Normally I struggle a little with applying super pigmented lipsticks because I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to lip outlines. With this product though you don't need to think - just swipe it on and you're done. Overall, definitely one to add to the shopping list if you're ever in Korea!
