After watching Lisa Eldridge's video for a colourful glittery eye, I knew that was the look I would be aiming for tonight. I love a good vibrant eye, although recently I have been favouring a more neutral look (mostly in part due to the absolute babe that is Vivianna, and also Lily, whose makeup is amazingly flawless). So I thought why not send out the year with a bang?
I followed the video pretty much religiously, though I did tweak it slightly to suit me. I didn't put the black eyeliner on my lower waterline, because I don't suit it and I wanted my eyes to look a bit fresher. I also used two types of glitter: Urban Decay's Heavy Metal glitter eyeliner in Headbanger (though it now seems to be called Metal Head) and Collection's Glam Crystal eyeliner in Shake It Up!, which was an absolute bargain.
Overall, I'm really happy with how this look turned out, and I can't wait to welcome in the New Year tonight!
