As a student, I never have a lot of money to spend on clothes (or makeup really *looks at the piles of baked beans I will have to survive on*) so I like to look for bargains. I had been coveting these beautiful Whistles leather boots, but at that price I would never be able to afford them.
However I was browsing New Look the other day when I came across these absolutely gorgeous chunky heeled boots, that look rather similar but are a fraction of the price. Get in! They are just perfect. The heel is just the right height, not too high and not too low, not only meaning I can actually walk in them but also making them super comfortable to wear. I even managed to stomp around the Trafford Center for a good five hours - a new heeled record for me!
Another thing I picked up is this lovely bag. I've been looking for a new one for a while now, and when I saw this one I was smitten. With its suedette wings, gold detailing and long strap, I think it will go well with most outfits.The only thing I would change is the fact that it hasn't got a zip closure, and you can poke your hand down the side of the flap that closes it.
