What's On My Face #2
For my everyday makeup I've really been loving the barely there, natural look (I'm crying over this picture of Keira Knightly right now). However, ever since the BB cream that I brought to Japan with me had run out, I've had to start using my 'going out' foundation on a daily basis. Now normally, people say that the Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation is a bit paint like (not what you want if you're aiming for natural) - which it can be, if you use the same amount of product as you would with any other foundation. But I've found that when applied with a light hand, over freshly moisturised skin, the cover becomes sheerer and results in a more fresh look (not a phrase you'd think to hear when you saw this product eh?) I actually really like the results, and if you own this product and had written it off, I highly recommend you give this technique a go. For blush, I've just been dabbing a bit of the Max Factor Miracle Touch Cream Blush in 09 Soft Murano onto the apples of my cheeks and blending out with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. On my eyes, I'm using the usual Lime Crime Eyeshadow Primer, and my absolute favourite palette of the moment, my Urban Decay Naked 2 in the shades Suspect and YDK. I beat my brows into shape with my trusty Gosh Eyebrow Pencil in Soft Black, and beefed up my lashes with a rather new addition to my makeup stash - Estée Lauders Sumptuous Extreme mascara. I like this one on 'natural' days, but it hasn't replaced my Holy Grail, the brilliant Max Factor Masterpiece Max. Topped off with a quick swipe of my Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait, and my look is done. What have you been loving wearing recently?
