O.P.I Nail Envy

Ever since primary school, I have been a chronic nail biter. It was a habit I picked up from a friend that I never managed to stop, until recently. Ever since I came to Japan, I decided to use my time to improve myself, and that meant getting rid of my nail biting habit, exercising consistently, and keeping an eye on my diet (the last has definitely been the hardest, especially as fresh fruit and veg is so ridiculously expensive here). As for my nails, I think I'm doing pretty well! They are super weak though due to years of abuse, which is where O.P.I Nail Envy comes in handy...

This product is a nail strengthener, that doubles up as a base coat too. It is pretty expensive (£18.65 from Boots), but I really think it's worth the money. My nails were awful, peeling and splitting all the time. They are still prone to do this, but Nail Envy definitely helps. You apply two coats the first time you put it on, then a coat every other day to top it up and removing it all after a week to start the process again. It is so easy to apply and dries very quickly, leaving a lovely glossy sheen to your nails. I love to use this as a base coat for other nail varnishes - I never used to wear them but now my nails are longer I'm loving it! In fact, you might see a nail polish review on here soon...

All in all, I highly recommend this product because even though it is pricey, not only will it last you a long time but it really does improve your nails!
