Being in Korea, I've been surrounded by girls that have got the natural beauty thing down to a fine art. I absolutely love that look, so I've been toning down my own makeup to try and recreate something similar.
I've been getting a few spots recently, so my Estee Lauder concealer has been a god-send. It is by far my favourite concealer - imperfections just disappear when you apply this bad boy. I've also been reaching for my BB cream more and more, to get that Korean glow I see so often here. Honestly, nothing glows the way Korean girls' skin does. Nothing.
One change I've made from my usual routine is to try out the Avon blusher in Earthen Rose. It is definitely more orange toned than anything I've used before (I much prefer pink toned blushes), so I was a bit scared to use it. But I actually really like the colour it puts in your cheeks. It's quite hard to describe I think - in my opinion its more of a 'good health' colour than a 'flushed' colour.
On my eyes I been wearing my MAC paint pot in Morning Frost - I'm actually going to talk about this in more detail soon, but let me just say now that it is a crime that it was only a limited edition colour. I been pairing it with Urban Decay's 24/7 liner in Midnight Cowboy on my lower lash line to add a brightening effect. Finished with a sweep of Max Factors Masterpiece Max mascara, and Marks and Spencer's Limited Collection eyeshadow in the shade Chocolate Satin swept through my eyebrows to beef them up and that's my eyes finished.
On my lips I'm loving another Mac product: their matte lipstick in Please Me, which is a really pretty pink. Normally I don't wear this because it highlights every crack or patch of dry skin, but I've been applying Vaseline like there's no tomorrow these past few days because the weather here in Seoul has become rather chilly, and my lips were bearing the brunt of it. They have now become so soft thanks to this constant attention, so I whipped it out and fell back in love.
What have you been loving recently?
